Introduction

What is the product about?

This is a maintenance application that provides immense benefits in terms of daily operations such as – 1. Display of Real Time Information. 2. Complete task history and checklist details. 3. Automated work assignment and tracking. 4. Real time availability check which enables you to optimize the work force.

How can it be used?

A very simple application that is made like a dashboard where the employees can login using their unique login ID and Password and then assign work to an individual or check their assigned work, see the status report, raise tickets in case of problem in the task, and various other features are present.

Our approach to the problem

Syncing Data with the existing platform

The process of consolidating data across different sources and software applications and also making sure that the data within all the systems in consistent was a challenge that had to be faced. And along with that we have to keep the data consistent over time too as it is a continuous process and applies for the existing as well as the new data.

Maintaining a strict timeline without hampering current client operations

Agreeing to a contractual arrangement to provide a certain service to a client in a stipulated amount of time is one of the biggest challenges that every organization has to face. This challenge was faced by using the following ways by us, we started with enough leeway, set an ample working capital, assigned tasks to members, set up benchmarks and deadlines for different tasks to review them, and also adjust the project according to the changing situations.

Maintaining the Budget Limits

The budget limitation set by the client had to be met at any cost and for that we had to find the best and economical way possible to do it. Any kind of inaccurate and unreasonable ideas for the app were eliminated, the exact right tools were utilized and the application was completed in the stipulated time. This is how the budget limit was met.

The process followed was AGILE. Agile software development refers to software development methodologies centered around the idea of iterative development.
